Apryl Bailey-Gordon has been a Claims Adjuster for more than 20 years and is the founder of Life’s Right Direction, Inc. Apryl has years of public service working with youth an mentally challenged individuals. She has been a mentor for many young people, and foster parent for children over the past four years. Her goal is to provide a supportive environment where children can grow and make positive life changes. She has worked for several corporations and has been a certified life coach for more than 7 years. Apryl has a passion for helping individuals move their life in the right direction.
Board Vice President
Margo Davis is President and Founder of Fate Into Destiny, LLC. Margo is a dedicated business professional with more than ten years’ experience providing personal support to clients who are physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually challenged. She has worked in a variety of environments; large corporations, and small community organizations. She is skilled in cultivating positive relationships with clients and colleagues; particularly adept at communicating with clarity and diplomacy to individuals from diverse cultural and organizational backgrounds.
Aliyyah Johnson is Supervisor of Accounts Receivable for a major hospital in Northeast Ohio. She has held several financial positions within this organization including Provider Enrollment Specialist and Patient Accounts Specialist II. Aliyyah has billing experience with in the public and private sectors and has experience getting claims processed and approved through BWC. She has a passion for working with children in the foster care system to insure that everyone has an opportunity to live in a clean, safe and supportive environment.
Gina Burwell is a Tax Associate at H&R Block, where she provides tax preparation for individuals and businesses. Gina has years of experience reviewing financial records such as income statements and expenditures to determine which tax forms need to be filed. She also has years of supervisory skills in customer service where she was responsible for staffing training and performance evaluations. After more than twenty years handling multiple professional duties Gina has joined our organization to passionately help provide a home to children in need.
Shonna Ellington has been a private caregiver for a number of years at numerous facilities. Shonna brings a variation of skills from her background that makes her the perfect fit for Life’s Right Direction, Inc. She has years of experience as a caregiver both community and private. Shonna spent several years as a Case Manager Supervisor working with mental health residents and individuals needing alcohol and drug counseling. She has also spent more than ten years working as a pharmacy technician. Shonna’s passion is to work with our young residents to ensure they are receiving all of the services and resources available to them, so they can live a well-adjusted life.
